Your business listing will be live on the website as soon as you activate your entry. You can log in at any time to keep your entry up-to-date.

Yes. We will only approve listings from genuine businesses and organisations based or operating in the Top of the Town area of Basingstoke.

Yes. You can listing a second business/organisation in the Top of the Town by using a different email address to register. This will create a different account to manage your listing.
If you use the same email address used to register your first business this will be seen as a duplicate entry and will be rejected.
Please check your junk mail folder for emails from towncentre@Basingstoke.gov.uk. It could be that your email account has a strict anti-spam filter, which has mistakenly classed the activation email as spam and stored it in your junk mail instead of your inbox.
It may take us a little while to review your business listing, which means the activation email will not go out straightaway. If you have not received an email from us just yet, please allow a couple more days and get in touch if you still haven't heard from us.
Yes. If your entry is approved, we will email you a link to activate your business listing. You will be able to upload photos and check your business details at this point.
You should only upload photos that you own or have the rights to use . Please do not copy photos from other sites, use clipart or stock photos.
We reserve the right to remove any photos that we deem unsuitable.
Your username is the email address you provided when submitting your business details.
We will send any emails relating to your business listing to your registered email address/username. If you can't remember which email address you used, you should be able to find out by checking your email for messages regarding your Top of the Town business listing.

Although you provide account details when submitting your business listing, we will only create an account for you to login if your business listing is approved.
If you have not received an approval email, you will not be able to login just yet.
If you have received an approval email, but still cannot login, please check your account details.
Your username is the email address you provided when you first submitted your business listing (note, this may be your personal email address). If you need a reminder of your username, please get in touch.

To remove your business listing, please login and 'deactivate' your listing.

You need to provide the latitude and longitude for your business or organisation premises. There are lots of websites that can help you to find out your map coordinates - try Googling 'find lat long'.
Latitude and longitude need to be entered in decimal format.

All you need to do is login to the Top of the Town website and remove the latitude and longitude for your business and the map will disappear.
No. To prevent any unauthorised changes to your listing, we will not accept requests to update business details. You need to login to update your business listing.
If you have forgotten your password, you can reset it by clicking on the 'Forgotten password' link on the login screen.
Click 'Save' as soon as you have finished editing your business listing and the changes will appear immediately.
